Avery (November 16, 1999 – February 20, 2012)
Spindly, droopy, funny, silly, sweet, dainty, happy, unique, endearing, annoying, awkward, cute, aloof, neurotic, odd, pensive, sister, friend, shadow, shedder, food stealer, squirrel chaser, sunbather, very occasionally surprisingly bellicose, never pulled on her leash, barely tolerated being photographed, would only drink water at home, pretty sure she did not think of herself as a dog, six year cancer fighter, five surgeries, chemotherapy, radiation, way outlived all estimates and expectations, dignified till the end.
We’ll miss our sweet girl.
